The Y combinator unicorn AI agent "a-ha" moment...

Today, I walked the founder of a Y Combinator unicorn company through a fascinating a-ha moment.

I was setting his company up in Helply and he discovered something most companies never find:

A way to autonomously identify and fill knowledge gaps.

Instead of the usual generic AI setup where you “crawl your website and call it a day,” something different happened.

Helply’s AI:

  1. analyzed their support history
  2. identified 50 specific knowledge gaps
  3. and filled them systematically.

For the first time, they saw an AI agent that doesn’t just set-and-forget.

Instead they experienced a complete feedback loop that lets their AI support actually learn from every conversation.

Most companies found zero gaps last week because they don’t even know what their AI can’t answer.

We call this feature Knowledge Bridge™.

How Knowledge Bridge™ works:

  • Imports your support history (not to feed everything to AI, but to analyze patterns)
  • Runs evaluations against your current knowledge
  • Shows exactly where gaps exist
  • Lets you approve or modify suggested answers in one click
  • Monitors daily conversations and spots new trends

Generic AI tools struggle to reach 20% resolution rates.

Helply users are hitting 50%+.

The difference? Continuous improvement through Knowledge Bridge™.

I think we’ll look back at basic AI agents and wonder how we trusted them when they failed silently on so many questions.

The early companies who implement systematic knowledge improvement now will own the customer experience of tomorrow.

Why aren’t more SaaS companies obsessed with building AI support that actually learns and improves?

The ones who figure this out first will win.

Until next time,

P.S. Most AI support fails because it is set up wrong from day one. That's why we built a five-day crash course to help you deploy an AI CX agent that resolves over 50% of support tickets, trains itself for optimization, and boosts customer satisfaction. No AI or engineering experience needed.

Reply to this email with "AI Course" and I will send you the details.
