Hey Reader,
I’m putting it out there publicly.
OptimizeCX will grow from $5M to $10M ARR in the next 12 months. With only 10 employees.
Here’s the exact 7-step GTM playbook we’re running. Step 7 is the one I’m most excited about.
Step 1. Finish 2 world-class AI products
We're building InstantDocs and Helply.
InstantDocs is the first Knowledge Base that writes itself (and stays up to date automatically).
Helply is the best-in-class customer support agent that handles up to 70% of customer support requests (and can take action on behalf of customers - not just answer their questions, but solve their problems directly).
We’re in the last 20% now. Launching later this month.
No MVPs here. These will be best-in-class products.
Step 2. Drive traffic with organic LinkedIn
Double down on founder-led content. Expand beyond SaaS circles. Test new angles to grow distribution.
Step 3. Launch the B2B SaaS founder community
Zero to $10M Academy. Launches next week. 200+ members already committed at $199/month. That’s $40K MRR from day one.
As a founder who never did YC, I always wanted a community of SaaS hustlers.
This one is for the bootstrapped, profitable, and proud.
Step 4. Outbound to the entire SaaS TAM
400,000+ verified SaaS founder emails. Thought leadership ads. Cold outbound at scale.
It sounds crazy but this is how you create demand. Most founders are more interested in a unique growth community than CX tools out of the gate. Warm them with the community. Build trust. Then bring them into the product funnels.
Step 5. Cold email campaigns
Tom Morkes (head of growth at OptimizeCX) is running outbound. Personalization and segmentation on enriched data.
Here’s the math:
We send 30,000 emails a week. At 15 emails per domain per day, that’s about 200 active domains running in parallel.
The output: 80+ ICP leads per week.
Step 6. Restart SEO
A year ago I fired my entire SEO team. But I’m ready to take another swing. The focus is on SEO + GEO (AI search). The next era of search is AI, and we want to be at the forefront.
Looking for the right SEO experts to make it stick.
Step 7. Use the community as a GTM sandbox
The Academy is our lab. Every GTM play gets tested here first. Once it’s refined, we roll it out to InstantDocs and Helply.
(and we document and share every experiment, test, and tactice with the Zero to $10M community inside our private Slack channel)
Here’s the thing about 2025.
It’s noisy. Everyone is launching some AI product. Everyone is chasing everyone else. The breakout companies are the ones executing relentlessly.
My advice if you’re building:
- Validate a hair-on-fire problem in a niche
- Build a simple but delightful solution
- Sell the first 50 customers yourself
The fundamentals haven’t changed. They’re just harder to see through the hype.
I’m betting on execution.
